Payment for Services: TTBH accepts many insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare. Many services are available on a sliding fee scale, and TTBH will not refuse services to a person based on their inability to pay.
Children's Mental Health Services are provided for children between the ages of 3 and 17. Youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance use issues who have an additional emotional or mental disorder also qualify for services through the Children's Mental Health Plan.
Services Available
- Case Management Case managers help consumers and families identify needs, resolve problems, negotiate services, and link with other available resources.
- Child & Adolescent Crisis Resolution Crisis resolution services including needs assessment and treatment and/or referral. Ongoing support helps prevent hospitalization and stabilizes family functioning.
- Counseling Services Individual, family, and group counseling and symptom management sessions provided as needed.
- Family Education and Training Services Group meetings for parents or primary caregivers providing support and education in areas such as parenting skills and knowledge about emotional disturbances.
- Medication-Related Services Initial psychiatric evaluation and follow-up, progress monitoring, consumer education, and laboratory services. Physicians see consumers on a regular basis.
- Skills Training Structured therapeutic activities to develop social, living, and community skills while promoting independence.
- Respite Services Temporary, short-term, or periodic support coordinated to provide relief to the primary caregiver.
- Intake & Assessment Comprehensive assessments and evaluations provided by clinical staff on both emergency and scheduled bases.
- Telemedicine / Telehealth Services Telehealth options available to improve access to care for children and families throughout the region.
