The Outreach, Screening, Assessment, and Referral (OSAR) program connects individuals in need of substance use treatment to the appropriate level of care. OSAR staff serve as a gateway to the substance use treatment system, working to match people with the services that best meet their needs.
What OSAR Does
- Outreach Reaching individuals in the community who may need substance use services but have not yet sought care.
- Screening Brief screening to identify individuals who may have a substance use disorder and need further assessment.
- Assessment Comprehensive evaluation to determine the appropriate level and type of care needed.
- Referral Connection to appropriate treatment services within TTBH or other community providers based on the individual's needs and preferences.
