Tropical Texas Behavioral Health provides a comprehensive array of behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout the Rio Grande Valley. All services are individually designed to meet each client's specific needs while promoting independence and recovery.
New clients: Walk-ins are accepted. Call 1-800-813-1233 for appointments. TTBH will not refuse services based on inability to pay.
Our Services
- Adult Mental Health Services for adults 18+ with serious mental health conditions including severe depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
- Child and Youth Mental Health Services for children and adolescents ages 3–17 with mental illness and serious functional impairment.
- Substance Use Disorder Evidence-based outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents, including OSAR services.
- Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services Services from early childhood through adulthood for individuals with IDD.
- Integrated Primary Care Medical care for adults and minors actively receiving TTBH behavioral health services.
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) FDA-approved medication combined with counseling for substance use disorders.
- Veteran Services Specialized behavioral health services for veterans and their families.
- OSAR Outreach, Screening, Assessment, and Referral for substance use treatment.
- Mental Health First Aid Public training program for recognizing and responding to mental health crises.
How to Access Services
Services are available at clinics in Edinburg, Weslaco, Harlingen, McAllen, and Brownsville. Walk-ins are accepted for new clients.
